THANK YOU TO OUR BACKERS…BUT WE STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO!

I’ve just been on the phone to Danny McCrudden, a Royal Navy veteran who’s approaching his 90th birthday. We’ve been discussing a few of the songs he’d like to sing at the music night in Holland on May 5th, including Tony Bennett’s The Good Life and Barbara Streisand’s The Way We Were. I’ve also been telling Danny about the wonderful people who have so far backed our film. We’ve still got a long way to go to reach our target – and if we don’t get all of the money, we won’t get any of it! – but we’re holding out for a last minute flurry of backers! In the meantime, we would both like to extend our grateful thanks to some our wonderful backers. Will you join them in backing the film? There is still time but only just…

  2. Coincidentally my son and myself had the honour to meet James Baker at War Museum Overloon yesterday. It left a deep impression on me, especially on Rememberance Day, 4th of May. What a remarkble man! Cheers to James and the other (few) veterans still alive, who liberated our country amost 70 year ago, risking their own lives whilst being hardly grown up… At the age of 19 James landed in Normandy… Respect!
