I was in Julian Lillington’s cab with veterans Danny McCrudden and Ernie Davis when we arrived to a wonderful reception at the Airborne Museum in Oosterbeek on 5th May 2012. A few weeks ago I went to The Shipwright Arms in London Bridge where the taxi charity had invited all the veterans who’d been fund-raising for the trip.
